Over the next two weeks, both the Fauré Quartet and Toppan Hall Tokyo will be celebrating their long-standing existence, both individually and together.
There will be a whole series of concerts featuring several guest performers.
In addition to the Fauré Quartet, Sayako Kusaka (violin), Nils Mönkemeyer (viola), Tatsuki Sasanuma (cello), Shigeru Ishikawa (double bass), and Annette Dasch (soprano) will perform.
The program includes “Verklärte Nacht” (Schönberg), an operetta evening and a song recital (Mahler, Wagner), String Quintet in G minor (Mozart), piano quartets (Mozart, Mendelssohn), Trout Quintet (Schubert), viola sonatas (Brahms in E-flat major, Schubert Arpeggione), Piano Quintet (Schumann), and much more.
